One of the features of HChT is the uniqueness of the people included in the study.
Below is the history of the ancestors of Frederick of Baden – the father of Victoria – Queen of Sweden, wife of Gustav V. The first Table presents the history using a family tree in a generational arrangement, and the second one is written using the principles of HTCh. Both stories contain the same facts. They differ in the number of characters. There are 31 people in the first system, and 24 in the second one. In generational systems, the mother’s family and the father’s family are listed separately. Due to this, some ancestors may be repeated in different branches and at different generational levels. In HTCh, each person in the story appears only once.
People who appear twice in the generation system are highlighted with a gray background.
